Since 1992, Acumen Machine Ltd. has supported the mechanical needs of Kamloops’ most critical resource industries. Built on a foundation of precision, integrity, and accountability, our 100% locally owned and operated machine shop has grown into a premier industrial partner for clients across the BC Interior. From our state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot facility on a 1.2-acre site in the Mt. Paul Industrial Park, we have the capacity, equipment, and infrastructure to handle large-scale industrial drop-offs and complex projects with confidence.

Owners Len Woodd and Wes Vath bring more than 80 years of combined hands-on experience to the shop floor, supported by Shop Foreman Vince Rich and a highly skilled team of journeymen machinists and fabricators. Mobile Welding & Portable Line Boring Services

We bring our expertise to your site. We’re experienced in mobile service for both portable line boring and welding, allowing us to repair heavy equipment in the field and get your operations back up and running without the need for costly transport.

CNC Shop Capacity: High-Definition Plasma Cutting & Machining

Our facility is equipped with a MultiCam HD Plasma Table (6’ x 12’), providing lightning-fast, high-precision cuts for complex patterns and heavy plating.
